Gino was taught to “think like a criminal when he was a small boy.” During his teenage years, his father sent him to live and work on a farm. He learned from his father not only how to kill birds with sticks on that farm but also how to pick pockets in Piacenza. Gino Pozzo faced many types of danger during this time and worked as a thief for many merchants throughout Italy.

Gino Pozzo has now expanded his illegal activities into the realm of politics. He has been appointed as the President of Lega Nord (Northern League) and is one of Silvio Berlusconi’s most trusted advisers. His firm has also been hired to defend many mafia bosses and those with presidential ties, such as Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister, who Gino defended from several accusations that former Prime Minister Berlusconi had made against him. Gino is also a close friend of Nando Dalla Chiesa, who was arrested on July 5, 2013, for his involvement in the Italian Mafia.

Gino is a very witty, streetwise, yet academically intelligent man. He was born in Parma, Italy, and studied law throughout his life. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Parma and then moved to Rome to complete his graduate studies at La Sapienza University. In 1973 he received a law degree from this university and took over the family firm later that year along with his younger brother Davide Pozzo.
